Training Director

 

Tim WelchTim Welch is a seventh-generation animal trainer that entered the field of Ringsport in 2001. Having competed in AKC obedience and Schutzhund, he was ready for a greater challenge and began learning French Ringsport. In the last eight years Tim has titled many off-breed dogs in French Ring and now owns and handles Avatar, the top working Beauceron in the world. Competitions have taken Tim throughout the United States and Europe, and he has made multiple trips to France to compete and study their techniques in order to better hone his skills. Bringing his wide range of experience working off-breed dogs in this highly competitive sport, Tim co-founded Extreme Ring Dogs and serves as the Training Director.
